    RS Feva National Championship

    The wind showed up in force for the 2025 RS Feva National Championships .     A great start to the season!

    The 2025 season kicked off on a high note with spectacular conditions for the Brass Monkey season opener. The first races of the new season were completed with sunshine and a nice breeze, even if it was a bit too much northerly and shifty. Thanks to Karen Robertson for setting 3 races and for the rescue crews, some of whom were last minute stand-ins. The results were not quite right at the time

    Annual Regatta - 72 boats!

    Dalgety Bay Sailing Club hosted their Annual Regatta on the weekend of 28 and 29 September, welcoming 72 boats across six classes, with visitors from all over the UK. The weather was kind on the Saturday, and in cool but sunny conditions all of the fleets managed the full complement of three races in the afternoon in a reasonably steady 8 to 10 knots of breeze.     Team building event at the club

    Dalgety Bay Sailing Club was delighted to host a charity team building and raft race event at the club yesterday, raising money for Mind, the mental health charity. Organised by a club member, the teams built rafts and raced through a slalom course, getting very wet in the process! An amazing fun afternoon was had by all!     SATURDAY RACING ABANDONED

    Given the extension of the red weather warning this afternoon to Saturday and yellow weather warnings now in effect for Saturday we have taken the decision to cancel racing tomorrow, Saturday 21 October 2023. The Regatta is still going to go ahead, and we plan to start no earlier than 11am on Sunday to allow people time to travel.

    SEPA confirms Dalgety Bay remediation work is complete

    Scotland's environment regulator has confirmed that work to remove radioactive particles from the foreshore at Dalgety Bay and prevent future contamination has been completed. The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) are satisfied that the remediation work carried out by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and its contractor Balfour Beatty, alongside future monitoring plans and agreed maintenance of rock armour by Fife Council, means the public will be able to enjoy access again for
