The RS200 is a 4.0 m, double handed, hiking, racing dinghy. It was designed in 1995 by Phil Morrison and has been the most popular of all the RS (Racing Sailboat) classes with turnouts at national championships exceeding 100 boats. It has a lightweight polyester GRP with Coremat hull construction, and an optimum crew weight of about 21stn (294lb 133kg). RS200's, like many of the RS racing sailboats, are produced by Richard Woof in Brazil and finished in Southampton by the London Dinghy Centre (LDC).
